The GREAT BARRIER REEF Is Giving BIRTH To New Life!
Every year the Great Barrier Reef’s coral spawns. And while coral multiples and divides throughout the year, this is the one time of the year that coral simultaneously releases both sperm and eggs! This means that the reef is breathing new life into the ocean at great levels! The coral larvae lands onto the sea floor and will eventually transform into new, colourful coral! Events like these are proof that despite the ever-changing climate nature finds a way!
