This week, we’re taking a look at the North American grizzly bear!
Did you know that the grizzly bear actually doesn’t technically hibernate? Instead, these bears go into torpor – meaning they will wake up if exposed to a loud noise (or even touched!). However, if you do happen to wake a snoozing grizzly it’s best to stay very still as these guys can run up-to 56km/h!
