The SPIDER Is Our Animal Of The Week!
This week we’re looking at the spider… an animal we’re all very familiar with here in Australia! Did you know that a baby spider is called a spiderling? Or that spiders don’t EAT their prey but SUCK them dry? And unlike humans, spiders don’t have internal skeletons. They’ve got exo-skeletons, which they shed or moult regularly. You would’ve seen a video or two of those floating around the internet before… it’s fascinating stuff!
