This 190 YEAR OLD TORTOISE Just Became The World’s OLDEST LIVING LAND ANIMAL
Meet Jonathan, the 190-year-old tortoise who just became the oldest living land animal in the world. Jonathan lives on St Helena, a remote island in the South Atlantic Ocean, and loves to eat cabbage, cucumbers, carrots and apples. While we don’t know his exact age, there is a photo of his arrival to St Helena in 1882, which scientists believe indicates that Jonathan was at least 50 years old at the time, making him 190 this year!
