A New Piece Of TECH Would Mean EVs Charge As QUICK AS PETROL TANKS FILL
A new paper in Physical Review Letters (PRL) has detailed the potential for quantum batteries to reduce EV charging time so much that they would take as long as filling a tank with petrol.
The science is based on an old theory of entanglement, which would mean all the battery cells charge simultaneously instead of individually, but it’s still a few years off being fully researched and developed. It’s exciting nonetheless!
