There Are Stage 1 WATER RESTRICTION In HOBART
Over the spring, Hobart had a whopping 322 millimeters of rainfall. But all this stormwater had a build-up of sediment and the Bryn Estyn treatment plant simply couldn’t cope. Because of this, Hobartians will have to follow stage 1 water restrictions. They’ll have to reduce their water usage by 20% and work towards saving as much water as they can until February 28, 2022, when these restrictions are lifted.
