NSW Is About To Have Its Ninth ARITIFICAL REEF Installed…Here’s Why They’re So Important!
New South Wales are about to get their ninth artificial reef and they’re helping the eco-system in more ways than you would think!
Artificial reefs are proving to be a fundamental tool in boosting fish numbers along the NSW coast, helping plankton and baitfish numbers skyrocket thanks to their increased height and durability over natural reefs.
Plankton and these baitfish support approximately half of the fish biomass, so it may be a good idea to keep these artificial reefs around for a long time!
