NSW Has Banned COAL AND GAS Exploration MINING Along COASTLINES
The NSW Government has banned coastline mining across the state. This includes offshore mining for resources like coal, gas and minerals, as well as exploratory mining along our beaches!
The policy was introduced to preserve our beaches and coastlines, which many communities and businesses rely on, for future generations, sand mining to prevent coastal erosion and restore sand to beaches is still allowed.
