Scientists from @stanford have just figured out how to harness the sun’s energy, long after it’s set. It’s thanks to infrared light, thermoelectric generator technology and the natural phenomenon of radiation cooling. Implementing similar technology that’s used in space, they’ve managed to make solar panels that charge both day and night.
