This capital city has been car free for more than a decade and has in turn been dubbed greenest capital in Europe (thanks to the European Commission).
The capital in question? Ljubljana, Slovenia! The capital city published “Vision 2025” in 2007, a set of proposals to create a greener and cleaner city and hopefully inspire other cities to follow suit.
The no car rule has led to a massive drop in gas emissions and noise pollution. Do you think your local city should make the shift? Let us know below!
