COLES Has Officially BANNED These Products From Their Shelves Today!
@colessupermarkets have officially banned single-use plastic tableware from their shelves in an attempt to tackle the plastic crisis.
The entire range has now been replaced with timber cutlery and plates as well as their compostable Green Choice range of plates, bowls and cups!
The ban is expected to see 1.5 million kilograms worth of single-use plastic diverted from landfill each year!
2,500 Coles supermarkets, Express, and Liquor stores around Australia have replaced single-use plastic items as of July 1st, 2021.
