The QUIRKY QUOKKA Is Our Animal Of The Week
This week we’re looking at the quirky quokka… you know… the animal that never stops smiling! It was even dubbed the ‘world’s happiest animal’ because of how playful and curious it is!
The quokka can only be found on two island, Rottnest Island and Bald Island, both off of WA’s coast. Did you know that it was mistaken for a giant rat back in the 1600s when it was discovered? Or that they’re cousins with the kangaroo and the wallaby?
