An extra $50 million has been added to recovering koala populations for the next four years!

The 2019-20’s Black Summer bushfire season saw koala populations brought to the brink of extinction, while the rise in chlamydia cases (approx half of NSW and QLD koalas) has also seen immense pressure put on the species.

Thankfully, the extra $50 million investment (plus new hope in a chlamydia vaccine), will bring new hope for the beloved Aussie marsupial!
