The planet just got a black box, just like the ones that are used in planes…only climate change focused!
The @earthsblackbox will record scientific data, like ocean temperatures, CO2 levels and human energy consumption, as well as social data, like newspaper headlines and social media responses to climate change. It is currently being constructed in Tasmania, but is already recording and broadcasting data.
