Jeff Bezos Has Pledged $1 BILLION To Help Fight Climate Change
The richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, has pledged US$1 billion through the Bezos Earth Fund to help fight climate change and support conservation.
Last year, the Bezos Earth Fund made a US$10 billion dollar commitment to restore nature, promote environmental justice and provide economic opportunities to local communities.
The organisation will start handing out grants this year, prioritising areas and Indigenous communities that are most in need of protection.
