Wild Wallabies Have been Spotted Hopping Around England!

We wouldn’t expect to see wallabies in England but they have been showing up in gardens and country streets.
Red-Necked Wallabies were originally imported into England for zoos and private owners but many escaped and established themselves in the countryside. Wallabies may carry diseases that put native species’ at risk or eat the vegetation they rely on. Thankfully their population is still small and their sightings are a rare occurrence!
