The Airbus “ZEROe” will be carbon-free and completely powered by hydrogen. The engines in the plane would be adapted to burn liquid hydrogen stored in the rear fuselage.
Airbus says that all the hydrogen they source will be produced from renewable energy. A completion deadline of 2035 has been set for this eco-friendly aircraft.
