Could Living In GREENER Environments Lead To HEALTHIER Babies?
Mothers living in greener environments could lead to healthier infants, a new study has found
The University of Turku’s department of Biology and Public Health studied 800 mothers, measuring how much ‘greenness’ surrounded them. The study found that everyday contact with nature improves the diversity of oligosaccharides in their breast milk, with these sugar molecules protecting the infant from allergies and diseases by improving their immune system and gut microbiota!
