❌ WOOLWORTHS WA Is Ditching PLASTIC BAGS! ✅

@woolworths_au in WA is ditching their 15c reusable plastic bags in favour of a 20c recycled paper bag. They estimate this will remove more than 30 million plastic bags from circulation every year.

The change comes ahead of a statewide ban on multiple single-use plastic items, including plastic bags, plates, cups, containers, cutlery and straws. This ban will come into effect on July 1st, with additional items being phased out as part of phase 2 by the end of 2022.
