Large Parts Of The AMAZON Are Emitting MORE CARBON Than They Can ABSORB
A new study has revealed that the Amazon rainforest is reaching a tipping point and may experience a mass tree death. Nearly 75% of the trees are unable to bounce back from the damage caused by fires, deforestation and climate change. The result would be many parts of the rainforest turning into a savannah, which would not only devastate the wildlife population but also the Earth’s natural means of absorbing carbon.
