Here’s Why It’s SO IMPORTANT To PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET When Out On A Walk
While we always have the best of intentions when taking our dog to the park or on a walk, sometimes we’re not always prepared to clean up after them.
Researchers in the UK have found that dog poo and pee have contributed greatly to the overfertilisation of weeds, throwing off the biodiversity of parks. Their byproducts are high in nitrogen and phosphorus, with some English parks being more fertilised than is legal on British farms!
And if it’s true there, it’s likely true here on Aussie soil.
So, make sure to bring a couple of bags whenever you’re out and about with your pooch to help protect your local biodiversity!
