Happy News! DAINTREE National Park Has Been RETURNED To Its TRADITIONAL OWNERS
UNESCO World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park is one of four national parks in Queensland that have been returned to their traditional owners, the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people, on Wednesday. They will run the parks jointly with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. These national parks will protect important Aboriginal cultural sites, diverse ecosystems, including rainforests, woodlands, wetlands and mangroves! What do you think of the news?
