♻️This Is Australia’s FIRST ZERO-WASTE Asian Grocer! ♻️
Each year, Australians throw away 7.3 million tonnes of food, which roughly equals 300 kg per person or 1 in 5 bags of groceries. That’s about $3,800 worth of groceries per household! Food waste also accounts for 5% of Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions so as consumers, we should try our best to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible.
As Australia’s first zero-waste Asian grocer, @naked.asian.grocer combats this issue by ditching single-use plastic. You can even customise your order so that you only buy the amount that you need! While they prioritise local, responsibly-sourced ingredients, they’ve partnered up with @greenfleetaustralia to offset their carbon emissions from imported goods. Their packages are also sent through @sendle, which is 100% carbon neutral.
