Greater Gliders are rapidly disappearing from the Blue Mountains as a direct result of recent bushfires, droughts and heatwaves. It’s estimated that we’ve already lost around 60 percent of the cute gliders! Luckily, the WWF is supporting the Great Eastern Ranges Initiative through the Regenerate Australia plan – a plan helping to regenerate and restore wildlife habitats.
