SA Government Supports LOCAL CLEAN ENERGY Through ELECTRIC VEHICLE Funding
South Australian Government wants more people in electric cars. They will allocate $18.3 million to make electric vehicles the common choice by 2030. The increased budget will create statewide fast-charging stations available. They would also be able to get more affordable electric vehicles into the state. $15 million is spent yearly on imported petrol which would be invested in local clean power instead. The move will help meet climate change needs while improving air quality. Hopefully, the rest of the country follows their lead!
